Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure cloud and hybrid infrastructures using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365). The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, M365, network design, and automation, and will drive strategic cloud initiatives while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud & M365 Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure and M365 environments, ensuring cost efficiency, security, and optimal performance.
• Automation & Optimization: Develop IaC using Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure CLI. Optimize resource utilization and service configurations in both Azure and M365.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices using tools like Azure Sentinel, EDR, and endpoint protection. Ensure compliance with identity management, RBAC, and DLP policies.
• Network Design & Implementation: Design and implement network architecture, including Azure Virtual WAN, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and security configurations.
• Monitoring & Analytics: Set up Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and use SIEM tools like Sumo Logic and Microsoft Sentinel for performance monitoring and security event management.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with teams to deploy cloud applications and services, and mentor junior engineers on cloud architecture, security, and automation.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve system performance, security, and efficiency.

Skills, Licenses, Certifications

• Skills: Expertise in Azure services, M365, network security, automation, and IaC (Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell). Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, AKS).
• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or similar certifications.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6+ years in designing and managing Azure and M365 environments with a strong focus on network design and hybrid cloud implementations.
