Customer Service Routing Associate (Personal Lines)

Scope

Under direct supervision, provides a broad range of insurance-related customer service and business development support and services to our existing customers and AAOs in ensuring all inbound requests are routed quickly and accurately to person(s) who can resolve the issue most effectively, ensuring the greatest customer service and the highest possible retention rates. Works with all levels of the organization to promptly resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reviews incoming requests received by email, US Mail, or by phone and through carrier websites
  • Thoroughly documents the request in the appropriate manner or system
  • Proactively contacts customer, agent, and others to ask clarifying questions
  • Assigns the request as quickly and effectively as possible
  • Answers any additional questions as needed
  • Listens to, and incorporates, feedback
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Reports activity and outcomes to manager

Skills, Licenses, Certifications

· Strong customer service mindset; a desire and ability to deliver service that provides a high level of satisfaction

· Strong verbal and written communicator; must be able to convey ideas in a clear and concise manner

· Ability to learn Brightway systems and regularly update activities accurately

· Some independent judgment and decision making

· Ability to learn, embrace and put into practice new concepts and skills

· Able to gather and analyze facts and data, draw some inferences, weigh alternatives and present logical solutions

· Able to manage own time, activities and resources

· Team player; must be able to contribute to the team and rely on others to achieve objectives

Education and Experience

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0-3 years’ experience in Customer Service or a related field. The applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

This position is on site in Jacksonville, FL.
