Personal Assistant (Part Time, Hybrid)

Brightway Insurance is hiring a Part Time Personal Assistant (Hybrid) in Houston, TX 77007.

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dependable Personal Assistant to support the agency owner. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the agency owner’s calendar: schedule appointments, meetings, reminders, and coordinate travel or logistics as needed
  • Handle incoming/outgoing communications: email filtering, flagging important messages, drafting replies under guidance
  • Perform general administrative tasks: data entry, document preparation, file organization
  • Maintain and organize files, records, and project timelines to ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Coordinate with team members or external contacts for meeting prep, follow-ups, deliverables
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes during meetings, and track action items
  • Assist in light research when needed (locating materials, information, suppliers, etc.)

Required Skills & Qualities

  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, professional demeanor
  • Comfortable using common software tools (e.g. Microsoft Office or Google Suite; scheduling tools; email clients)
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others
  • Discretion & ability to handle confidential information

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Ability to commit to a part-time schedule (20-30 hours a week)
  • Access to reliable internet and ability to work remotely when required
