Scope
The Training Lead, Agency Network, delivers high-impact, multi-modal training experiences across all stages of the agency journey—from onboarding to ongoing development—to strengthen brand alignment, drive adoption of best practices, and develop a winning mindset.
This role works closely with agency leaders, producers, and operations teams and must bring realistic insurance and agency experience to the work. The role applies practical, proven adult learning methods to design and deliver training that changes behavior, improves customer satisfaction, and supports Brightway’s growth.
Job Responsibilities
· Design and deliver blended learning experiences including virtual instructor-led training (VILT), in-person workshops, eLearning, videos, job aids, leader guides, webinars, and coaching sessions.
· Develop goal-driven learning solutions that translate strategy into practical, field-ready behaviors agents can apply immediately.
· Facilitate high-impact training on insurance sales, producer effectiveness, systems, leadership, customer service, and agency operations.
· Coach and enable agency leaders and producers to improve sales outcomes, operational execution, and customer experience.
· Partner with Agency and Business leaders to assess performance gaps and design targeted learning and enablement solutions.
· Customize training schedules to minimize business disruption and support unit and franchisee performance goals.
· Regularly assess learner needs and feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
· Utilize the LMS and related technologies to deploy interactive, multi-modal learning and manage content updates, while prioritizing learner adoption and impact over process.
· Promote peer learning, coaching, and mentorship through open dialogue, surveys and manager feedback.
· Conduct follow-up assessments and analyze training data, surveys, and KPIs to measure impact and effectiveness.
· Proactively identify workflow, process, or service improvements that enhance training outcomes, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
· Maintain accurate and current training documentation, including procedure manuals and departmental learning materials.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders and stakeholders to align training efforts with company goals and shared objectives.
· Serve as a learning ambassador, representing Brightway at internal and external events such as conferences and panels.
· Document training activities and results in internal systems with accuracy and timeliness.
Skills, Licenses, Certifications
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, One Drive, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint)
· Proficient in basic IT troubleshooting, system setup, and navigation – and ability to teach to others effectively
· Demonstrated experience designing and delivering performance-based learning for experienced professionals, preferably in sales, agency, or franchise environments.
· Content development experience required.
· Ability to analyze complex information, synthesize insights, and translate them into clear, actionable learning solutions.
· Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills in both classroom and virtual settings.
· Property & Casualty (or state equivalent) insurance license preferred.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
· Property and Casualty (or state equivalent) insurance license preferred
· Minimum of 7+ years of insurance industry experience, preferably in agency, sales, or operations roles (Commercial experience highly preferred).
· Minimum of 7+ years of experience in training, enablement, coaching, or learning leadership, ideally in an agency, franchise, or sales-driven environment.
· Prior experience training or coaching producers, agents, or franchise partners strongly preferred.

This role is onsite in our Charlotte office.
