Scope

The Inside Sales Producer is responsible for driving new business growth and maintaining a profitable book of business for Brightway Insurance. This role is suited for an experienced sales professional with a strong understanding of insurance products, relationship-based selling, and territory development. The Producer partners closely with internal teams and carrier partners to generate new opportunities, retain clients, and support long-term business growth within Brightway’s proven operating model.

As an Inside Sales Producer at Brightway you will...

  • Drive new business growth by converting warm leads from Brightway’s existing book of business and through active prospecting efforts
  • Develop and manage a personal book of business with a focus on retention, cross-selling, and long-term relationship management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners to support production goals and market placement
  • Conduct proactive outbound sales activity through calls, emails, and follow-ups to promote Brightway’s value proposition
  • Own the full sales cycle, from lead engagement through binding and ongoing account management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, servicing, and renewal support for clients
  • Accurately document sales activity, pipeline updates, and follow-ups in CRM and tracking systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, territory performance, and client experience
  • Represent Brightway professionally within the community and carrier network

What we are looking for:

  • Active P&C license
  • Demonstrated success in a sales or producer role, preferably within insurance or financial services
  • Strong ability to manage and grow a book of business independently
  • Excellent relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and comfort using CRM and sales tracking systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to model Brightway values of being Smart, Accountable, and Trustworthy

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • 3–7+ years of experience in insurance sales, producing, or business development
  • Prior experience managing carrier relationships and/or territory-based sales is strongly preferred

This position is onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina.
