Scope

Own project management for Brightway’s Carriers team M&A activities during a period of significant growth and transformation for Brightway. Act as the primary liaison between company, new Brightway agents and carriers on a variety of administrative/appointment issues related to migration of existing books of business into Brightway systems. This role will be highly cross-functional with regular visibility to Brightway’s leadership team.

Job Responsibilities

· Own project management tasks and deliverables for carrier M&A activities including project management plan/calendar, master carrier tracker and process checklists

· Process transfer of carrier appointments and codes for agents that are new to Brightway Insurance

· Obtain policy lists and information from carriers and work with policy migration team to ensure all information and documents can be transferred to Brightway systems

· Proactively make outbound calls and send emails with the purpose of clarifying information or gathering correct information from Carriers and/or Agent partners as needed

· Manage inbound requests from internal and external partners and follow up tasks appropriately

· Proactively identify issues/opportunities; troubleshoot issues and escalate complex issues to appropriate stakeholders and follow through on resolution

· Learn and document carrier processes for book transfers and code migrations in order to ensure tasks are able to be replicated accurately

· Hold training calls with new Agents to educate them on Appointment Process

· Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

This position requires a high school diploma although some college and/or pursuing professional development in insurance related areas preferred. Applicant should have 2-4 years’ experience in a professional workplace, preferably with an insurance agency or carrier, and must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
