Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the insurance industry. We are looking for an individual with strong customer service and communication skills who is eager to learn the business, obtain their Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, and grow into a larger role within the agency.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, renewals, claims support, and general insurance inquiries
- Support the agency with quotes, data entry, and policy processing
- Learn insurance products, coverages, and carrier systems
- Maintain accurate records in agency management systems and CRM platforms
- Collaborate with agency staff to create a seamless client experience
- Identify opportunities to help clients with additional insurance needs
- Work toward obtaining your Property & Casualty insurance license (if not already licensed)
Qualifications
- Customer service, sales support, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus
